Denny & Sandy Miller - Acts in Africa

LEADING THE ACTS IN AFRICA INITIATIVE

Denny and Sandy lead the Acts in Africa Initiative (AIA), a ministry aimed at mobilizing the African church for Spirit-empowered mission.

AIA has been given the responsibility of facilitating Africa’s “Decade of Pentecost” (2010-2020). During the decade the Africa Assemblies of God hopes to see 10 million new believers baptized in the Holy Spirit and mobilized as Spirit-empowered witnesses, church planters, and missionaries. As a result, they expect to see millions come to Christ, thousands of new churches planted, and hundreds of indigenous African missionaries sent to the remaining 800+ tribes of Africa.

Denny and Sandy have served as Assemblies of God (USA) missionaries to Africa since 1992. During this time the Millers have been involved in pastoral training, church planting, and Bible translation work. Sandy lead the translation of the Fire Bible notes into Chichewa, the language of Malawi. Denny has taught and served as academic dean for the College Division of the Assemblies of God School of Theology (AGST) in Lilongwe, Malawi. He is also the founding director of the Assemblies of God Extension School (AGXS) in Malawi.

ACTS 1:8 CONFERENCES

The Millers travel extensively throughout Africa teaching and preaching in Acts 1:8 Conferences, Schools of the Spirit, and Eleventh Hour Institutes. Denny has taught and preached in more than 30 African countries. Prior to becoming a missionary, the Millers pastored for 22 years in Colorado and Texas.
